The ULTIMATE 417 Halloween Guide 2026: Every Event, One List

๐Ÿ  The 417 Mom Home · ๐Ÿ”ฅ Today's Deals · ๐Ÿ’› Networking Mama Hub — Start Here

Mamas, I heard you. ๐ŸŽƒ All season long I've been posting Halloween lists in pieces — the big guide, the Saturday post, the Halloween Day list, the little town add-ons — and you kept asking for ONE list with EVERYTHING on it. So here it is: the ULTIMATE 417 Halloween Guide, every still-to-come event I've posted all season, merged into one final copy. This post replaces all the earlier lists.

Here's what's inside: 103 events still to come — 89 of them on specific days between today (Wednesday, Oct. 28) and Halloween night (Saturday, Oct. 31), plus 14 season-long attractions — haunted houses, corn mazes and pumpkin patches — that are still running. Everything is organized by town, Springfield first, so find your town and make your plan. Most of it is FREE. Save this post, send it to your mama group chat, and let's finish this season strong. ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿงก Gentler Halloween — the calmer picks still to come

For kiddos who want the treats without the jump scares and crowds: the Abilities First Candy Crawl (Fri., Springfield), Branson Landing's Safe Street Trick-or-Treat with its teal-pumpkin allergy-friendly treats (Sat.), and the library storytimes (Thu.–Sat.) are the calmest stops left this season. Each has its full listing in its town section above.

๐Ÿฌ Halloween Night: what time do we knock?

Halloween is a Saturday this year — no school-night bedtime math! None of our local cities publish official trick-or-treat hours; it's porch-light rules everywhere in the 417. In practice: the littlest kids start around 5:30 PM, the main wave runs 6–8:30 PM, and porch lights click off around 9. Porch light off = skip that house. A teal pumpkin on a porch means non-food, allergy-friendly treats. ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒฝ Season-Long & Recurring — still running

Haunted houses, corn mazes, pumpkin patches and multi-date attractions. If the run ends before Halloween, it's not on this list — everything below is still going on or after Oct. 28.

๐Ÿ“ Springfield — Haunts

Hotel of Terror & Dungeons of Doom · nightly through Oct. 31 · 334 N. Main Ave. & 701 W. Wall St., downtown Springfield · $25 per haunt / $45 combo Springfield's legendary haunt pair has been scaring the Ozarks since 1978 — and 2026 is the Hotel of Terror's LAST season. After this Halloween it's gone for good. Ride the hearse between the two, brave the 96-foot slide exit, and sign the waiver. Legit scary — a hard NO for little kids, a huge YES for teens. Dungeons of Doom carries on.

Pythian Castle Ghost Tours · October dates · 1451 E. Pythian St., Springfield · around $20 A real 1913 castle with an eerie history (orphanage, WWII POW camp, certified hauntings). Spooky stories and atmosphere rather than jump scares — the perfect “first scary” for a brave older kid (recommended 8+). Book ahead; October dates go fast.

๐Ÿ“ Clever

Campbell's Maze Daze & Pumpkin Patch — and the Haunted Maze · through Oct. 31 · 177 Carob Rd., Clever · $12 child (5–12) / $13 adult per the Halloween Day list Daytime means a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides and bonfires — and after dark on Friday and Saturday nights, the maze goes HAUNTED. Clever, you officially have the scariest address in the 417. ๐Ÿ‘ป

๐Ÿ“ Brighton

Gardener's Orchard Pumpkin Festival · through Oct. 31 · 4455 W. Farm Road 2, Brighton · $14.52 (ages 4–59); 3 & under free; Wednesdays $10 Corn maze, corn pit, jump pads and a hayride on the north side.

๐Ÿ“ Branson

Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival & Pumpkins In The City® · Sept. 11–Oct. 31 · Silver Dollar City, Branson · included with park admission More than 20,000 pumpkins, the Garden of Giants (pumpkins up to 1,000 pounds), hundreds of visiting craftsmen, live master pumpkin carving and fall menus. It's a paid theme-park day, not a free event — but if your family does one big fall outing, this is the showstopper. Note: costumes aren't allowed at Silver Dollar City.

Shepherd's PumpkinFest & Pumpkins Aglow · Sept. 12–Oct. 31 · Shepherd of the Hills, Branson · locals $15 at the booth with ID; bundles from $39.95 Hayrides, pumpkin picking and painting, and scarecrow making by day; stay after dark for Pumpkins Aglow — glowing pumpkins until 9 PM Sun./Wed./Thu. and 10 PM Fri./Sat. (The Sleepy Hollow spooky hayride wrapped up Oct. 24.)

McKenna's Pumpkin Patch, McKenna Family Farm · Sept. 26–Nov. 1 · 3265 State Highway F, Branson · $9 (ages 3–65); $4.50 (66+); free 2 & under The classic family pumpkin patch: bounce pillow, jump pad, hay mazes, a corn box, gerbil wheels, rubber ducky races, and a “Spook-tacular” hayride that is proudly NOT scary. No admission needed just to buy pumpkins. Runs through Sunday, Nov. 1!

Sycamore Creek Fall Roundup · Saturdays & Sundays through Nov. 1 · 2657 Sunset Inn Rd., Branson · online $15 (12+) / $10 (3–11) / free 2 & under; gate $18/$13 A working-ranch fall day: a 6-acre corn maze, hayrides, a cow train and pony rides. Last days: Sat. Oct. 31 & Sun. Nov. 1.

Haunted Copperhead Mountain Coaster · Fri. & Sat. nights through Oct. 31 · Shepherd of the Hills, 6021 W. 76 Country Blvd., Branson · driver $17.95 / passenger $12.95 Branson's mountain coaster goes haunted on Friday and Saturday nights, with Halloween effects along the ride. The scare level is officially “medium” with NO jump scares, and kids who don't want the scares can grab a glow wristband — a rare haunted attraction that works for tweens.

Downtown Branson Audio Ghost Tour · self-guided — go anytime · Downtown Branson · $12.99 A self-guided haunted-history walking tour of downtown Branson — do it whenever it fits your trip.

๐Ÿ“ Aurora

Aurora Maize — Field of Screams · Wed., Fri. & Sat. through October · 20591 County Rd. 2200, Aurora A corn maze by day that turns haunted after dark.

Aurora Maize — Zombie Harvest · Fri. & Sat. nights in October · 20591 County Rd. 2200, Aurora A zombie glow-paintball attraction, Friday and Saturday nights.

๐Ÿ“ Hartville

Goblin King's Haunted Trail · October nights · 5651 State Hwy, Hartville area · $15.38 per person A haunted trail attraction for the brave crowd.

๐Ÿ“ Bolivar

Fieth Family Farm Haunted Corn Maze · Saturday nights through October · Fieth Family Farm, Bolivar A haunted corn maze on Saturday nights — the final night is Halloween itself, Sat. Oct. 31.
